You ask me if I fear Death,
To which I respond; Death or dying? I don’t fear death, Nor being dead, My body growing old with the earth Under old apple trees My soul wandering the realms, Waiting for life to visit, No, I don't fear being death, now and further. Dying is different from death, long and hurtful to the living, To the nearly departed, existing in two world, Heart in living, Home in the one after, Letting go of life, Embracing change, Forever lay my soul to rest, Death is sweet, It will hold my bones, As season change, And life reminisce. |
